Economic Plan for Recovery
Egan for Nevada has officially released its Economic
Plan for Recovery. Not only will this plan immediately
begin to alleviate economic pains, but it will also lead
to vibrant, long-term growth with a more stable
economic environment. Joe's ideas center on
competition, a balanced budget, tax cuts, economic
diversity, and government reform.

Joe Egan is fed up with politics as usual in Nevada.
He is a typical working-class Nevadan who will fight
hard to remove the power that has been
consolidated in the hands of a few elite individuals.
Joe Egan will stand up to the politicians and the large
corporations who's only concern is enriching
themselves at the expense of the working-class
individual and the small business owner. Joe Egan
feels its about time to return the power to the people
who made Nevada strong: from the dealers, the
bartenders and the cashiers; to the cab drivers, the
doormen and the truckers; to the entrepreneurs, the
cooks and the clerks; to the clergy, the entertainers,
and the teachers. As Ronald Reagan once said, they
are, in short, "we the people."
Joe Egan's only concern is for the everyday
Nevadans who work tirelessly, day and night, to earn
a stable living for themselves and their families; not
the elite few who have run our state into an
unprecedented economic crisis. When elected, Joe
Egan will work endlessly to give everyday Nevadans a
seat at the table and a voice in how our State is run.

for endorsing my candidacy. The NRA is a dedicated
group of American patriots committed to defending
the Second Amendment of the United States
Constitution. Said the NRA, "[Joe's] strong support for
the Second Amendment and working knowledge of
the issues surrounding this most important debate are
greatly appreciated."

I would like to thank my supporters for tonight's
great victory! I was thrilled to join Sharron Angle and
Dr. Joe Heck at tonight's "Unity Victory Party." It was a
true joy to share in the experience of a historic
conservative victory for Nevada, right here in my
home district.
Despite running in a district with more registered
Democrats than Republicans, I am the right candidate
for the 8th District. As a working-class individual, I
have much more in common with the independent and
Democrat voters of this district than my opponent: a
radically out-of-touch criminal defense attorney.
Like Ronald Reagan in the 1980's, I can
effectively communicate with the Democrat voters of
the 8th District. Like the "Reagan Democrats" of the
1980's, I am going to create thousands of "Egan
Democrats" before the November general election,
while staying true to my conservative principles!
Although being outspent by $24,000 dollars in the
primary election, I still managed a land-slide victory
because I put forth a positive message that resonated
with the voters. This same common-sense message
will carry me to victory in November!
I will fight hard to revive our economy, improve our
schools, reform our government, and cut our taxes. I
am not beholden to special interests or large
corporations. My only concern will be representing
your needs and helping you improve your lives.
I was glad to accept my primary opponent's
endorsement tonight. I thank Jing for his
graciousness after a well-fought campaign. Come
November, with your support, I will help the Party of
Reagan and Lincoln to reclaim the Nevada Assembly.
